Thank you very much for the invitation to address the 15th International Conference and Exhibition on the Green Industry of Flexible and Printed Electronics.
This is a conference of international prestige, which for years has highlighted the close relationship between scientific research, innovation, industry, and ultimately, development itself.
Our era demands solutions that are both technologically advanced and environmentally sustainable.
The applications of green, flexible, and printed electronics now extend to almost every field of human activity, from green energy and agrivoltaics to health, mobility, smart buildings, and the cities of the future.
This truly represents the union of sustainability with technological innovation.
I would like to warmly congratulate the Hellenic Organic & Printed Electronics Association (HOPE-A) and the Nanotechnology Lab LTFN of the AUTH for their valuable contribution to the development of a comprehensive ecosystem of research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in our country.
Through projects such as COPE-Nano, Flex2Energy, and the Nanotech Hub Thessaloniki, they vividly demonstrate how collaboration between the public and private sectors, universities, and enterprises can lead to successful outcomes.
As Chairman of the Special Permanent Committee on Research and Innovation of the Hellenic Parliament, I firmly believe that transforming knowledge into production and extroversion is the key to Greece’s new developmental path.
It is truly encouraging that Greece is actively contributing to shaping the European agenda for the green transition and the digital industry. After all, green innovation is the great challenge and the promise of the future.
Thank you very much, and I wish every success to the proceedings of the conference.
